Steven George Gerrard was born in Whiston, England, May 30, 1980, Gerrard started out playing for local team Whiston Juniors. He got perrhatian of Liverpool scouts and joined the Reds when he was 9 years old. He only played a few games, because of slow progress made hana he played in 20 games between the ages of 14 and 16.
